Earrings composed of vintage carved translucent Nephrite Jade moth ornaments and Chinese enamel vermeil filigree beads. The moths are hand carved on front and are smooth on the back. Ear wires and fine chain are gold filled. Earrings hang 2 1/2" from top of ear wire and are 1 7/8" wide.  The Moth ornaments are very lightweight. Each earring is a comfortable 5.7 grams. These jade moth carvings were obtained from a jewelry dealer's estate. Age is uncertain. Most likely date from early to mid 20th century.
